VARDA BREGER / PINCEL Y POESIA
En mis pinturas y poemas (en hebreo e inglés) me ocupo de los temas de nuestra frágil ecología planetaria, la injusticia de la sociedad y la búsqueda de la paz . Mis obras tratan sobre el desequilibrio entre el progreso y la naturaleza, que se manifiesta especialmente en la desaparición de la variedad de vida silvestre. Creo que todos los habitantes de nuestro planeta único son parte de una cadena, están vinculados y dependen unos de otros. Quiero advertir contra los peligros inherentes, mientras suscito sentimientos de asombro por un lado y ansiedad por el otro.La matanza y la pobreza en África es un tema que me preocupa a mí y a las mujeres abusadas y su lugar o no en nuestro mundo. Estoy activa en la manifestación por la paz y el acuerdo Women Wage Las mujeres negocian la Paz (Israel) También transmito mi filosofía y sentimientos personales en poemas de "estilo haiku".Las aves migratorias son para mi una inspiración y una metáfora de la paz sin fronteras. Un nuevo tema doloroso es el asesinato de mujeres por parte de sus cónyuges o de un familiar.En mis pinturas, (utilizo técnicas mixtas, transparentes y opacas, principalmente sobre papel,) se pueden encontrar diversos aspectos de la vida silvestre en peligro de extinción:África y todos sus problemas, Soy moembro de Artists for Conservation (AFC),líder en el mundo que apoya el medio ambiente, que representa a más de 500 artistas de la naturaleza / vida silvestre en 30 países.La misión de AFC es apoyar la conservación de la vida silvestre y el hábitat y la educación ambiental a través del arte que celebra la naturaleza.

I deal in my paintings and poems (in Hebrew & English) with the subjects of our fragile planet ecology, society injustice, and the quest for peace. In my paintings, one can find wildlife in danger of extinction, Africa and
all its problems, Artists for Conservation (AFC) - the world's leading artist group supporting the environment, representing
500 of the world's leading nature/wildlife artists from 30 countries.AFC's mission is to support wildlife
and habitat conservation and environmental education through art that celebrates nature.Migrating birds are
an inspiration and metaphor for peace without borders.A New painful subject is the murder of women by their
spouses or a member of family. My works deal in the lack of balance between progress and nature, which is manifested especially in the disappearing variety of wildlife. I believe that all the inhabitants of our unique planet are parts of a chain, linked together, and depend on each other. I use mixed media technique on paper, streams of dilute paint are caging blurred trampled animals, women, and birds. I use to go over the paintings with tires of cars and shoes to indicate the conquering of civilization. In my paintings
I want to warn against the inherent dangers, while arousing feelings of wonder on the one hand and anxiety on the other hand.The
killing and poverty in Africa is a theme that concerns me and the abused women and their place or no place in our world.Above
all I am busy now in the craving and demonstrating for peace and agreement in Israel with the movement Women Wage Peace.I
convey my personal philosophy and feelings also in "haiku style" poems. |

Dsaster in the beaches Year after year miraculously,females sea turtles return to theirbirth place.They lay hundreds of eggs, cover and abandon them. When the time comes,the tiny turtles crack their shells,shake off the sand, ands tart a hurried crawling to the water.Predators are lurking in sand and sea, craving their soft flesh,few survive. Año tras año milagrosamente, tortugas marinas hembras regresan a sulugar de nacimiento. Ponen cientos de huevos, los tapan y los abandonan. Cuando llegue el momento,las tortuguitas rompen sus caparazones ,sacuden la arena y comienzan un gateo apresurado hacia el agua. Los depredadores acechan en la arena y el mar, ansiando su carne blanda- pocas sobreviven. Esta vez nuestra huella, manchas negras de alquitrán negro pusieron fin a su corta vida. Varda
Breger was born in Israel, lives and works in Tel Aviv. She has displayed her works at more than twenty five solo exhibitions,
and she participated in many more exhibitions and international symposiums in Israel and abroad. She was invited and took part in international
symposiums in Slovakia, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, Finland, Austria and England. She is a member of the Israel Forum of Ecological Art, the European Artists, and the Tel Aviv Artists and
Sculptors Association and was elected to AFC Artists for Conservation, ANF-Artists for Nature and General Union of Writers
in Israel In 2004, she was awarded the Franz Kafka medal for Fine Art
by the European Circle Franz Kafka.

 In 2011 she was awarded second Leonardo prize for works on paper
in the Biennale Chianciano Italy. In 2012 she was awarded first Leonardo prize for works on paper in the International Prize
Exhibition Chianciano , Italy. Honorale
Mention in the 2nd art contest 2012 organized by ATRAVITA and sponsored by WORLD WIDE ART BOOKS. Her book "Planet Of Life" paintings
and poems was published in the end of 2012. Biennale Izmir 2013: 453 artists from 53 countries and Breger won the second prize for painting. 2015 she was awarded the prize for promoting
PEACE through ART in the international exhibition of Art Quake Kyoto 2015.

Varda Breger nació en Israel, vive y trabaja en Tel Aviv. Ha mostrado sus trabajos en más de veinticinco exposiciones individuales y simposios internacionales en Israel y en el extranjero.Fue invitada y participó en simposios internacionales en Eslovaquia, Alemania, Bulgaria, Italia, Finlandia, Austria e Inglaterra. Es miembro del Foro de Arte Ecológico de Israel, los Artistas Europeos y la Asociación de Artistas y Escultores de Tel Aviv y fue elegida para AFC Artists for Conservation, ANF-Artists for Nature y General Union of Writers in Israel. En 2004, el Círculo Europeo Franz Kafka le otorgó la medalla Franz Kafka de Bellas Artes.En 2011 fue galardonada con el segundo premio Leonardo por obras sobre papel en la Bienal Chianciano Italia. En 2012 fue galardonada con el primer premio Leonardo por obras sobre papel en la Exposición Internacional del Premio Chianciano, Italia.Mención de Honor en el 2º Concurso de Arte 2012 organizado por ATRAVITA y patrocinado por WORLD WIDE ART BOOKS. Su libro "El planeta de la vida", pinturas y poemas se publicó a finales de 2012.
